10" speakers

Ok, I have a problem.

I am about to load 2 10" speakers into a Fender Twin Reverb.

I am set on them being 10" speakers. (I like the way they transmit how hard you play your guitar)

I am getting a lot of pressure to go with some celestions.

I was about to get a couple of Jensen 10q's for next to nothing.

I got offered a nice set of JBL's similar to d-120f's, but the $ stopped me dead in my tracks.

I never owned any JBL's yet.

I mean, I use fender and Marshall stuff, but the speakers are always my last concern because I have a tendency to burn them up.

As far as I know, I need 2 10", 8 ohm speakers.

Suggestions? Comments? Celestions worth the trip? Which model?
JBL's? They can't be worth all that CHING.

Gimme the dirt on what's worthwhile, please.

MY THOUGHTS WOULD BE THAT MARSHALL USES CELESTION FOR A REASON.I USE A MARSHALL AS80R WITH 2 10" CELESTIONS TO SING THROUGH AND I WOULDN'T PUT ANYTHING ELSE IN IT.

Both my Marshall TSL and my B-52 have Celestions (green backs and heritages). I would spend the money to get them everytime.

Sorry to those who gave me grief about posting this in the wrong section, I was late and running out the door.

What's the diff between a greenback and a heritage?

I mean, I know what a greenback sounds like and I like it.

But what does a Heritage sound like in comparison.

All my other speakers are 12" and Peavey because they've been ohhhh soooooooo cheeeeeaaappp. (ducks head) lol

How do you burn your speakers up?

Forget JBL shiat.

Celestion or Eminence.

(And I dont know what the Heritage sounds like)
