Ah, the sweet fruits...er...vegetables...of one's labor!

This morning, I got to eat a morel mushroom omelet, with a side of potatoes fried up with some sausage & ramps! YUMMY! Also had some toast with green pepper jelly that a STICK friend made. That was surprizingly good, too.

Life - ya can't beat it, so ya may as well join in it!

I have yet another reason to hate the deer, too. I found them diggin' up MY mushrooms!

I also found some bear scat about 150 feet from the house.

I am green with envy philby (once again)! Those morels must be pretty tasty even the deer like them!

Can't find morels around here, too warm. sure wish I could. Plenty deer though.
