His voice is just like no other to my mind. What a talented guy he was/is. I had a lot of hand me down 45's when I was a kid. I lot of them were by him. Awesome talent.

That's good one, Phil. His voice really fits that song well...a case of the artist having an ear for material that may not necessarily be chosen for them. I've liked most of Tom's covers...
