Hey there....listened to "Dreams"....very nice, just like the Islands !!

I live in California but visit Maui and Kauai often. I have played for the Kauai 4th of July Concert in the Sky the last couple of years but not sure if I'll make it out there this year. We played right before Kalapana the year before last, they're a great local band and a bunch of cool guys.

Anyway, thought I'd say hello and keep up the nice music. Add an acoustic guitar and bass and you'll be flying high in no time.

Good luck !!

"No Audio Available" is what I saw when I looked at your profile.

I saw a comedian about 18 years ago...can't remember his name for the life of me. He'd strung his uke with electric strings & put a pick up on it. He was tall & thin, & watching him wail away on that thing playing Zep & Steppenwolf & all sorts of rock stuff was one of the funniest things I ever saw.

Hope the music gets up on your profile for me soon, uke man. I'm interested.

Good luck.

That 'my guitar gently weeps' uke video is on youtube, it's probably one of the most amazing displays of musical ability I've ever seen.

P.S. ... Philby,
I dredged up Ukulele Boy's post from the archives. It's a couple of years old. I hope he comes back on the forum because we need more variety to keep things interesting. I play a bit of balalaika myself, and my son Ry is getting fairly proficient on the ukulele.

2 year old topic...I never look at the dates on these things. It's no wonder I spend all my time so confused.
