... then prevost saw it? (Or whatever his name is - i'm not looking right now)
Anyways, that was pretty funny.
What happened to him? Whered he go?
Then there was that time when I had a dear diary meltdown and used Capt Scotts handle in reference to some very violent feelings.
I used him because I thought he wouldnt care or just laugh it off, but never saw a response from him.
Then I tongue-lashed Dewey, and he doesnt keep the thread about health care going, and he seems to have disaapeared.
Come to think of it, the only people that have responded to me lately are philby, craig, and sans.
(and ohhhh yeah... getting all mad and basically demanding an apology from phil was another good one)
What gives people??

Ah, memories!
I still love ya, Zip!
Prevost is in & out, cuz he's actually a busy, working musician. I miss that...
Dewy's still here. He posted something just yesterday, I think.

aww Zip.....I still like ya! I have not been responding to the debates. Any argumentative conversations I steer clear of. But I kind of know what you are feeling. Seems sometimes that after I respond to a thread, the thread just dies LOL.

When that happens, Robin, it's only due to the fact that you've worded your point so well, that there is no need for response, no possible way for anyone to disagree. You manage to do that more than many ppl.

You dissed me? I read it the replies, felt like that thread had done all of the good it was able, and the folks who were learning had learned all they could.
I read your reply, it was drivel, opinion and would be a waste of my time to reply and everyone else to read it.
As for disappeared? Nahh, lurking would be more accurate. No need for my opinion on the stuff that has been posted the last few days.
Next?

People just generally think I am too brutal and honest? thus I am trying to keep it down to a minimum unless I really get a wild hair stuck up my azz.
"I have other things that require focus and attention thus what people say on a forum is moving to the back of the line".
Besides if it isn't truly horrible, let them bathe in their ignorance. They don't want to be corrected by anyone anyway, it's just lip service.
It's like the criticisms, chances are no one wants to hear even the truthful/constructive let alone the personal opinions of others.
Like I said, keeping it to a minimum and if someone asks for a critique I avoid it unless I really have a strong feeling about it.

Maybe that's what you serve at your meetings Glen, around here the drink of choice is Irish Coffee.

Aw, dammit, Dewy! You had to remind me!
I've been outta coffee for 2 days, & the withdrawal threatens to rip the very fabric of my being apart.
The wife went to the store a cpl hours ago to remedy my lil problem. Gawd I need a fix, dude!

I believe right now I could chew a Bass B string before I could go all day without mi joe.
But the Irish Coffee... well, that's for gatherings of friends. If you knew some of my friends you'd pour some whiskey in your coffee upon seeing them arrive as well.

I've been known to put all sortsa weird stuff into coffee, but I never tried rum.
I have bought some pretty odd stuff, too.
I have some "Key Lime Coffee" out in the kitchen. It isn't suitable for drinking, however. It was on sale, or I wouldn't have bought it, but citrus & coffee don't mix, imho, in the same drink. I wouldn't do the mint coffee, either. I think I'll feed the key lime stuff to the worms. Maybe they'll like it.
Earthier flavors work best, imo - like chocolate, vanilla, caramel, maple syrup, nuts or butterscotch.
One of the best pre-flavored coffees I ever got was "Geargia Pecan," but I only saw it once. I tried to make my own, by grinding some pecans with my coffee beans. The tanins in the nuts made it undrinkable, though. I never tried anything more bitter! Took me 2 days to get all the nut bits out of my grinder, too! LOL
I use extracts instead of real nuts these days, & it works mo' better. A fave is almond, but even coconut is pretty good, if you're in the mood for something different.
