And they're coming to my town on the 22nd. I wish I could go, but likely won't due to work/family life-load. :(

That's as odd a mix as Jethro Tull with White Snake, ain't it?

Hard to tell actually. Iron Maiden has morphed over the years from their original Killers 70's Metal to a more 90's metal sound which I think is more compable with DT's fanbase. DT I think is mostly geared to guitarists wanting to shred like Yngvie, but who love the orignal Metal sounds of bands like Queensryche. If I were to guage on my own likes, I think the tour will go over well with 90's metal heads. Probably gonna be 30yr-old + fanbase.

Not really. Dream Theater are huge Iron Maiden fans. They've covered entire Maiden albums before while on tour.

Wow Chris - the show on the 22nd is actually the one I'd be going to. I just have to figure out if I'll have time off, because I am definitely not going to work the next day.

oops, I read a lising in my local paper and the date March 22nd stuck in my head for some stupid reason

I'd actually be going to the Sun June 20th - Concord, CA - Sleep Train Pavilion concert, which since it's in June, I just might be able to make!!

"Sleep Train Pavilion" about says it all.

Why don't they have it at the SEALY POSTUREPEDIC PAVILLION?

Special guest star, the moon is made of green cheese and the cow that jumped over the moon while counting sheep.
