As much as I like a nice clean tone, or the natural raunch of a cranked tube amp, sometimes a grizzly sizzly fuzz box is the only tool for the job. What FBs have y'all had past or present that you thought were winners? I have a few overdrive, and distortion boxes at the moment but the only actual fuzz in the collection is the Dunlop Fuzz Face reissue that I use on the "Time Solo" cut on my page. The other guitar player in my current band has a EH Big Muff that I like too, but my all time fave belonged to another bud back when we were snotty teenagers in a band, circa 69-71. It was a Marshall Supa Fuzz that I would love to be able to record with today.

I don't use fuzz boxes. Sorry. Nothing to recommend.

Now, if you just want to talk about pure tone... I'm going to recommend a BB Preamp. Own one, use it on leads, love it.

I've got a Fulltone Fulldrive 2 for that sort of thing which I use way more than a fuzz, but sometimes a "nice" tone just isn't what I'm after.
