I dunno. There's something about going out & getting shit-faced to celebrate a religious saint that just seems kind of funny to me, & I don't mean "funny - HAHA," but "funny - hmmmmmmm."

Philby how did the gig go?

Everyone said I did great.

No one knows wtf they're talking about.

It was one of my more lackluster performances, partially because of what I like to call my "Springtime Voice," which is at the mercy of the allergens. I lost a good 1/3 of my range, vocally, but I did as well as I could, I suppose.

I've not been doing my best to keep up, to learn new stuff, either.

So, I've got work to do. I've been a lazy bastid lately, & it's time once again to give myself a swift kick in the butt.

It'll be 70 degrees today & beautiful. Perhaps I'll practice outside a bit, & either learn or write a new song.

I used to get sick a couple of times a year and would loose part of my range for about a week. I always had to suck it up and try and make it thru the gigs. You will get thru it as well, its a bummer though it takes the fun out of the gigs because you feel llike you are struggleing.
