Coffee is not the opposite of tea, but it is different.

It doesn't really seem to be any more cohesive than the Dem party as a whole, does it? Random urges for "change" in the system, but no unifying stance on any real issue.

Still, it looks like it could be fun, at least until they outlaw coffee houses...(cuz we simply cannot have ppl gathering together while encouraging substance abuses, can we?)

No cohesiveness, just people who are confused and angry but don't want Palin speaking at their event. A lot more diverse than the tea baggers anyway.

That,s just silly to label "tea baggers" and lump them like so much clay.
To say there is little diversity is any group of people whom number in the millions ... Come on Jimmy ... you may not agree with the political ideals ... but I know your smarter than that.

Jimmy ,you are such a proggressive flocking communist,,, only you would ,could come up with this kind of shoot.
Meanwhile ,you don't give a flock that you are stepping all over my feet and STEALING MY childrens AMERICAN DREAM.
I am not going to sit here and call you FLOCKING names.
I am also not going to sit here and let you BULLSHIT people with your FLOCKIN drivel.
The only reason you will never be a ROCKSTAR is your govt has asked you to give all and you have gotten little in return. You got talent, but you have allowed others to take it all away from you... You are starting to look tired Jimmy.

Don't FLOCK with my childrens dreams!!!!

LET THE NAME CALLING BEGIN ,BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT LOSERS KNOW WHAT TO DO.!!!!

Desired effect achieved. We have liftoff.

If it gets Glenny's goat I know I'm onto something.

Just so you know, I had opportunities to do the rockstar thing but I chose to raise a family, have a career and keep music as something I love. I knew if I followed the dream I would come to hate music. You probably don't know but I've met and recorded with rockstars, some who have said I'm one of the best guitarists they've ever met. I have nothing to prove here but to chat with friends and share interesting tidbits. Pissing off morons like you is just a bonus.

What are we to do? Americans have never been more polarized in my lifetime. There seems to be no middle ground. Either everyone is lumped into the far right or the far left. We're going to end up with useless legislation no matter what we do. It's sad. And I hope it doesn't come down to a bloodbath, but sometimes polarization takes a VERY UGLY turn for the worse. I hope we can come to a peaceful consensus that takes into account the best aspects of each side. There is merit to some social programs and low taxes. There has to be a sensible way to ease the burden of expensive healthcare WITHOUT giving up our freedom of choice (capitalism) WITH a healthy dose of regulation to keep companies from ripping us off. Common ground is what we all need, not polarized Tea or Coffee Parties that'll eventually lead to people blowing each other's heads off...

The problem is Bob, the average American does not fit easily into either extreme. I myself am fiscally conservative - I've got 401Ks and IRAs, mortgages on two houses, etc. I want the economy to do well, it's in everyone's best interest. At the same time, I'm environmentally left leaning, I care about this planet and don't want it sacrificed to big corporate greed. So any political group that doesn't have that viewpoint I'm against. I have made it my mission to insure that the wrong party does not get power in 2012 (whoever that might be).

Whom ever purchases the power in 2012 will be the wrong party.
We're screwed.
