WHY DO YOU WANT TO FIRE THEM?
That would be all wrong. People have to think of their children first. That is the battle cry that allways comes from the schools that want to tap into tax dollars without ANY FISCAL responsability.
However ,if the money well has run dry..... PAY YOUR TAX BILL OR FEED YOUR KIDS,,,,,I would rather feed my kids.
Lets just heap on another 50 trillion dollars of national debt to cover up incompetence.
This is just the begining, unless ALL Americans start to rethink the debt we are going to pass on to our great, great grandchildren.
These are amazing times... We all have to start making decisions that may not affect us directly or immediately.

A %100 tax deduction (dollar for dollar) refund of moneys spent for private education is the only thing that will save education in this country IMO.
Public schools are too wrapped up in pushing socialist agenda and paying for football uniforms to educate anyone properly.
The head of the school board is one of the highest paid individuals in many small communities. And they don't teach anyone anything.
And many never have.

Agreed 100%. ALso there should be school vouchers available for parents wanting to send their kids to private schools OR home schooling. I've known a few people who home schooled their kids and they achieved superior SAT scores and got a scholarship to college. An across the board voucher program would create competition between public and private schools. The public schools would have to improve or see the attendance dwindle to nothing. Right now a poor person has no way to send their kid to private schools and is stuck with the lousy public school system. IT IS ALL ABOUT SETTING UP A SYSTEM THAT PROMOTES BETTERMENT THROUGH COMPETITION. That's the only solution IMO...

I spent the money to send My daughter to a private school. It was half the cost of one public school student, compared to our local school district.
It wasn't easy and I'm not some rich fat cat that has that kind of money to blow. We had to do without much to afford that,,,dinner out,Mcdonalds, vacations fogedaboutit, work harder,,,, you betcha.
The end result is that my daughter was rewarded a major scholarship to a university I could never afford.... Would she have done that with a public education. NEVER. She wouldn't have even been considered.
As far as the public school system it is just another costly ,wastefull ,govt agency that has opened the doors to outright theft.
Even more is the fact that I keep hearing that the more corrupt all these govt social systems are.... Its OK...the more they waste,Its OK.
Jimmy I got two words for you.
Its not.

I have always wanted to send my children to private school. But I have four. I and my wife were not willing to make the financial sacrifice to make that a reality.
For the most part though we have been fortunate enough to head socialism stupidity off at the pass.
Teach your children by showing them history. Encourage them to read reality not fantasy. Allow them to discover truth on their own.
The silliness of socialist propaganda cannot stand the light of day when exposed to the realities of history.
When you are fully aware of where you have been it's easy to see where your headed.
