Evidently, Israelis got quite pissed at the high cost of tickets. The band, very popular in Israel, hasn't been there since 1999, but were selling nose-bleed seats at the equivalent of $159, while good seats were twice that & more.

The biycott worled, evidently. The ticket proces were reduced, but I haven't been able to find by how much.

Perhaps we should do this in America, cuz from what I see, ticket prices for shows have gotten ridiculous.

Actually I think prices have leveled out. Jeff Beck was under $50, and I'm going to Flogging Molly tomorrow night, tix are $25-45.

It's been awhile since I bought any. Last time I checked it was for my son to see Metallica, & the prices were well over $100. I passed on them.

It's been awhile since I attended a concert. But, as I recall, the tickets were $5.95

i agree with them....if they dont wanna play for people that actually like them then they suck any way! boycott metallica!
