So we have the month off from gigs due to schedule conflicts with some very important family celebrations on the weekends.
We will be making the best of this by going back to the studio hopefully to complete our Demo CD.
Wish us luck, seems in studio is one of the few places the band members don't agree on everything.
I pray we can come to some consensus.
I am very eager ( eager hell, it's driving me nuts ) to get our CDs in the hands of our fans, as well as kick off my planned advertisement blitz.

Hope you can work out those differences, sans, & make a great CD.

Good luck.... Its always good to get away from the live shows. Besides family is very important . Now you have a chance to sit back and hear yourselfs.

Whomever has the best musical taste or the best feel for a particular song should be listened to.
Besides, it doesn't take that long to record a song several different ways with various ideas in play. You could always do something on that order and then give it a listen to see what works best. When you get it down, then do some serious studio work on it.
It isn't about who is right or wrong. It's about the music. :)

Unfortunately, SG, it also comes down to personal taste. Some ppl have it, while others don't.

Look at your stereotypical overplaying bass player. He thinks he sounds cool, but many others will think he's detracting from the music.

These sorts of arguments will make or break most bands.

I hope sans can keep it all together, & still produce a quality CD.

Other than the levels I have been quite pleased with the overall CD.
It's those pesky singers !! LOL
We will have a meeting on it tonight before rehearsal.
I am a little eager for the boys to show tonight.
My new Carvin 2153 mains came in today. :D
I hope to get some pictures to post up.
Eric has been working on a set up schematic to take full advantage of the second PA. ( the stolen Fender I had mentioned earlier )
He apparently has an old bass cab (Crate I think he said) with dual 15"s
Could be a very NOISY KUNG FU night. 8)

Hey, Sans. I was just listening to "All That Really Matters". Good song, good recording. But, is that one that you did in the studio? If so, when you go back in, you should have them touch up where the bass dropped the ball at about 1:43. It stands out as a little too obvious as a mistake. They can probably cut and paste just those few notes, instead of trying to get the exact settings they had when it was first recorded.

Yes Jeff.
It is on the list of four we will rerecord in April as well.
The band voted a start over on the whole project.
I personally have been focusing more on the live production aspect of the band. And will, other than playing the guitar, allow the other guys to have the the studio headache all to themselves. LOL
