No original stuff but I do a blistering version of "Manic Depression".

My wife and I disagree 3/4 of the time.

We play totally unconcerned about time signatures.
I like the KISS method.

Keep it simple sir. 8)

3/4 time is what was used on waltzes, etc. 3 beats to a measure. Usually the bass played on the first beat, but on "Manic Depression" the bass played all three beats. You would know if you're playing any songs in three.

Kinda of has a swing feel to me.

I love manic depression, thats a great song for playing with people even if you dont play it live, it will tighten you up and i love the drums on that song. Glad you brought that up Jimmy I havetn thought about that song in awhile. I saw a band play FOxey Lady the other night that sounded really good. I was dancing aorund an my gf said I dont like that song much, Im like oh bummer!

I write a lot of songs that I would like to do in 3/4 time. But since I only have drum CD's for backing, I can't. Those, along with my drum machine, are all geared to rap and hip hop beats. I plan to use a live drummer some day on my tracks but for now that will have to do.

The drum programmers act as if rappers are the only people out there. Come to think of it, I remember several country artists all taking a shot at songs with hip hop beats. Uggg. What could possibly be worse than a country star doing rap.?
