No sir not in studio. Many of or songs have gone from concept to completion is one practice session though.
Hell of a feeling of accomplishment involved.
Looking forward to hearing your work.

Definitely. Over half of The Farleys first CD was written in the studio.
I help my friend with a CD he does every year; he writes the lyrics and I write the tunes in the studio on the fly. Works suprisingly well. Here's the link to his site, the songs are from the one we did last year. Mind you he is not a musician and we record the songs as is with no overdubs.

Sort of; I'm a metal vocalist. A friend of mine owned a recording studio, where he was recording a rock act. They didn't have a singer and he asked me if I thought I could do it, I said yes and showed up at the studio that night. They had very few lyrics and no melodies. I went in and within five hours, came up with lyrics, melodies and recorded vocals for they're three song demo. Not sure if they liked it or not, I wasn't crazy about any of it. So...yeah, I did it.
