I just noticed as of 22 Feb '10 @ 2000 hours a large amount of material removed from YouTube.

I had heard something about it and disregarded it, until I noticed that some good original videos I can't get anywhere else are now gone.

I had a good time deleting all the bookmarks I used to have.

I guess YouTube is now for kids that want to be filmed knocking their teeth out on banisters or stairs with skateboards and roller blades etcetera.

I just thought it was for checking out music you don't currently own.

You can get a download tool from Firefox as an addon to save some. I doubt its legal but I've been aware of this for over two years now. More to do with those dreaded copyrights than anything else.

Nah someone I know got pounded for $5K for illegal downloading of movies.


I am not dl'ing even so much as a pirated copy of Sonar Cakewalk..
