Ok, I confess

Ok yeah, I'm a liberal.

Well, not really. But that's my label, according to the right-leaning folks here.

I'm what I consider an independent, a progressive. A forward thinker, if you will.

I'm first and foremost a Father, husband, and someone who cares about the future of his family, and of society. Second-most I'm a musician who believes in music being a harmonious and moving experience.

It's time for me to take my leave from this forum.

I'm not deleting my account or anything, but I won't be coming back to these forums; as I'm sick of the constant neocon threads beckoning me to argue. I don't like arguing, and I don't like pulling up a music forum and feel like I'm being attacked all the time. Yeah, I know, I can choose not to read them, or to respond. How would people feel if I made threads with titles such as "REPUBLICANS are traitors who deserve to die"... attacked? damn straight. I'm getting sucked into brainless arguments with knuckle-dragging idiots. Yes, that's what some of you are. Sorry, but the truth hurts. I'm going to take the high road and just leave, you guys can have this wasteland. BTW please don't reproduce.

The Bmix administrators have seriously dropped the ball and allowed this to go on WAY too long.

Bmix is for me, nothing more than an EPK at this point.

Been a blast, cheerio.

Kramerguy, I've always enjoyed reading your posts. Please don't leave for good. Just take a break for a while. I remember a few people leaving this forum. A couple have come back, some didn't.

Didn't I leave for a while myself?? To be honest, I don't remember. Hahaha.

Anyway, if the forum feels like you know each time you open a thread, you get a bad feeling before you even open it to read, then it's not a good thing. That's what heated debates do sometimes.

There have been some real verbal wars on this forum. Craig and Philby, myself and Mike, Glen and JW.. Musicians are stubborn people by nature that don't take s**t from anyone. It takes balls to be a musician in the first place.

Just remember that there are people who do read what you have to say, and don't unleash the fury of a verbal pounding toward you. I, for one, am in the middle of recording a full-lenght. I would love it if you were still around to hear the stories, and see the progress, the pics, etc.. I value your opinion as much as anyone else's, and will value your opinion on the end result.

If it's time for a break, then it just is.. Give your mind a mental rest, take care of the important things. I certainly hope you do return, and I hope nobody on here is going to start up with the whole "this is just a cry for attention" kind of response. We all need that break sometimes.

Good luck to you my friend.

Kramer, I am with Shredd on this one. I have always been very impressed at how smart you are. Also impressed with your level of musicianship and commitment to your music in spite off the hardships you have to endure. It will be our loss if you don't come back.

Jeff

What? Me & Craig are the bestest of buddies, aren't we, Craig?

Look, ppl argue all the time. I'm as liable as the next guy to take things personally, & it certainly shows in smoe of my posts, but when it comes back to music, we all are on the same team, even when we don't agree on genres.

Yeah, take a break. Cool off a bit. I'd hate to see your last post being a negative one referring to knuckle-draggers, man, cuz I know you're way above that in person.

You have style & a certain class & a good sense of humor. We love ya, man (not in a biblical way).

Come back & check us out occasionally, & get fired up again when you must.

It's all part of the forum life.

Do what you must but remember that standing up for the things you believe in has never been easy. Be assured that I will continue to fight for the causes I feel must be represented here. Come back when you're ready.

You can have my keyboard when you pry it out of my cold lifeless fingers.

Yes. That was exactly the most appalling thing you could have said right there.

Kramer I will miss your insights on things.

As has been said we all come from different angles on everything and this place gives me a good place to check the pulse of different people. I choose most of the time to not get into political debates or religious debates, but if someone puts up something that I have personal experience with I will say something, otherwise I just read for the enlightment and entertainment.

Good Luck with your son, good luck with your music, you have come a long long way as a musician since you first came on here and thats what this is for me, a place to share music and musical ideas.

Have a Great Day Kramer!

What a bunch of bullshit! You all know this is all about one particular member. It's that asshole troll GlenJ who you have let completely take over every off topic thread. You old timers, the 1000+ posters used to self moderate this forum, why the hell you let this troll chase off good contributing members is beyond me.

Goes back into lurk mode...

salt!!!

lol Whew, there for a moment I thought he was going to blame it on me.

(hands in the air)

Take it with a grain of salt. (over the shoulder)

Why bother to let them get to you>? You know we all see something differently, it is what it is.

You read, you think and you are.
If you disagree, that's fine.
If you agree, that's fine.

I don't let what anyone say bug me too much one way or another.
And for the record, if I say something that you don't like, don't let it chew on you.

(grain of salt, over the shoulder)
