long time no see.
I never really thought this site would have worked, but that band i told you all that i auditioned for,
well hell, weve been writing and performing a lot already for as many hang ups as we're had (like me being out of state for probably 40% of the time).
we have another show on the 27th.
Hows it going for all my old forummates?

Just an avatar from the Forum Air.
The bands on the finger are to allow the player to recover resonance and allow a softer type of play depending on the hand position.

Pretty neat image though, thanks for the concern.

Good to have you back and glad to see you are GIGGING. My band started gigging recently, we have two of the best blues musicians in Kansas City (I'm not talking about myself of course). What were we talking about the last time you were on the Forum? Weren't you going to buy into a music store or something? Did that ever happen? Anyway, good luck and welcome back...

Good to hear you're playing AV.

My cover band hasn't been doing much, but my originals band is busy. Just played our second show together, and have more shows booked for March 6th and 12th (and maybe 27th).

Crowd and fans... love it.

Hey guys,
nah the music store fell apart. The structure got burnt down before i even got back from the desert.
yeah gigging is great, but 2/3 shows have just been up mic to get our name out. This next one on the 27th is a paying gig with local big wigs.
We are starting to rub shoulders with a lot of the influence around here, and gaining a very dedicated fan base. I wouldnt trade this for the world.
I just wish it payed more.

Yep but it sounds as though the pay is what you were looking for so nice one on that. Things will come if you stick at it I'm sure.

Good luck Air.

Nah the thrill and fans is what i play for. That and I just actually really like the bass (I cant play guitar believe it or not; as i think picks are wierd and cant use them)
I just wish there was some way that all the gear i need to pay for was easier to pick up for less. We are seeking sponserships from local music stores, that'll help.

But theres nothing wrong with wanting to get paid for providing a service such as entertainment.

Sorry.
That sounded pathetic. What I meant was its all good if you are enjoying yourself, even better if you are getting paid for it.

It's good that you have a love for playing man. That's what I love about BOTH bands I'm in. The people don't put money first - they just love to play.

Play well and the money will come. People will take notice and after a while, you'll be able to set your own price.

Good luck AirViking. It's a great thing we do...
