I hate it when someone puts the butter in the refrigerator. When you try to spread it, it tears up your toast somethin aweful :/

Chippy,, even 35 years ago KRAFT mac and cheese specified margarine in their recipe, remember when a box was 13 cents, anyway I always used butter because it tasted better.
Nowadays, I would't think of getting up in the morning and frying a nice sirloin without a half a stick of butter. God I love red meat.
Really heavy work days when I was younger had to include butter, we are talking 10000 to 12000 calorie days. Butter is QUEEN!

Land 'O Lakes makes a combination spread that is butter mixed with olive oil, great for cooking, spreads easy out of the frig, and is much healthier for you than butter alone. I heartily recommend trying it...

I just can't see putting olive oil on my toast.

You can have my butter when you pry it out of my cold, dead fingers.

You might live longer if you start substituting olive oil for butter or almost any other oil. When I went on my blood-type diet a few years back I just about completely eliminated all dairy products (including butter) from my diet. I started cooking eggs in olive oil. At first I couldn't stand the taste but then I gradually got used to it. Now when I try eggs cooked in butter I can't stand THAT. Olive oil is considered by many nutrition experts as a super food. The combination of butter and olive oil tastes more like butter to me than olive oil. You should give it a try. Wouldn't hurt...

Lightly salted butter. We always has some kind of margarine when I was growing up. When I got married I told my wife not to buy anything but butter.

So let it be written !

So let it be done !!

Haven't used anything but real butter in over 30 years. That's about the only part of STICK night that I do't like, cuz there isn't any real butter there.
