We set a record for accumulated snow fall over a month ago. And it is still snowing every other day.

Some are saying that this could rival that mess we had in 96. DAMN I hope not! My back won't take too much of that shovelling stuff today!

We were supposed to get 1-2 inches today, we got about 8 inches. It could mean less snow for the east coast OR it could mean the system is intensifying much more and you're going to get MUCH more than predicted. How's that for a prediction...

Now they are calling for 12 - 18 inches of snow
Looking mighty pretty out there. State of Emergency declared in a lot of places. Thank goodness we live in the city and walk everywhere anyway.

I live at the foot of Big Pocono Mt. , otherwise known as Camelback Ski Resort. I can assure you that 99% of the "snow" on those slopes is man made! Snow storms cost workin' folk like myself a lot of money and energy just getting to work. It also hurts the bands and venue owners when it happens on the weekends.
Lucky for us, we got a whoppin' half inch of the white stuff! Anyways, Most of us around here are pining for spring.
P.S. Robin,
Good to here from ya! Sorry to hear that you're snowed under. Are you out gigging yet?

It's been a balmy 28 and NO SNOW here in Detroit. I'm on my way to jam with some guys that are into spacey 60's music - "Green Manalishi" - Fleetwood Mac, "Nighttime Daily" - The Monkees, "Melancholia" - The Who. Should be interesting.
