I just recorded an old R&R song, and did it Blues. In the song were many neat but simple licks that a singer/picker could use to fatten up the sound of their performance, either as a solo or with other musicians. Kind of a how to fatten up your sound.

Like my other video, the emphasis was on both hands while I was playing, so as to give great detail for the viewer who liked the chops I was using and wanted to learn them. Unfortunately, my face was also in the frame at times. That may well have damaged my best video camera.

Then I did an instrumental for You Tube. It plays in the camera, but I can't get it out. I even tried getting it out by putting the SD card in another camera. It also plays just fine in it, but I can't export it from there either.

So naturally, I assumed it was the SD Card. Then I recorded another song on another SD card. It also plays but can not export. Hmmmm.

Naturally, I have to assume that my face broke my camera, as my face was in the last video before the camera started malfunctioning.

Since then I have taken movies of my dog to see if they will come out of my camera. HIS movies come out of the camera just fine. So I tried another video of me picking. ......... It will not come out.

Here is my question. Should I do a video with my dog playing air guitar and hum the guitar licks? Or should I teach him to actually play them, all the while knowing that those videos may not come out of the memory card either?

But before giving the whole idea up, I am cutting a grocery bag to fit over my head. Perhaps this will fool my Canon camera. Obviously it is more intelligent than the operating manual lets on. It has facial recognition built right into it! I will let you know how this turns out.

Has your face ever been responsible for the death of a camera? I used to think that was a joke.

For those who are camera buffs

It has to be some kind of virus that re directs so my computer can't find the videos. I keep getting a user aborted or can't locate the device. When I click on a video (As if is reading from the camera through the USB port} all the icons from the pics and vids in my camera disappear. They are still there, but the computer can no longer see them. To get them back on my screen, I need to remove the camera and re install it.

When I took the card to another camera, it acted the same. Then, when I tried to open a vid on the camera that wasn't infected by anything, it did the same thing. And it had worked just fine earlier. Then my other computer acted the same. Screwy, huh?

But when I put my SD card into my MP3 player, I could see my videos and get them from the card into my computer. I have NEVER run into anything this strange before.

I just thought I would type this all out here. If it ever happens to you, you can say you heard about that.

That's REALLY weird. Do you have any metal plates implanted in your body? Were you abducted by aliens, are you missing time? Maybe you have powers similar to Yuri Gellar and you don't know how to harness those powers...
