Remember last Feb, when a tree fell on my Explorer? We replaced it with a brand new 2009 Toyota Corolla. Now they've recalled it, & "they" say they don't know how to fix it.
So what does that mean for me, the consumer? I mean, they've also recalled the ABS brake system that's in my particular car.
I just called the dealer where we bought it, & they say they'll fix the brakes on Monday, but they have no idea what to do about the gas pedal, or even if anything needs to be done. They've evidently not been watching the "news."
Is this just another case of the media going the extra mile for my attention, or is there really a problem?
See...that's the kind of question we shouldn't have to ask, except we're in America, the home of the "free media" that can say anything at all, whether it's true or not...or if it's merely BS, like Foxier Noos...or if it's designed to put something or someone down, like CBS...cuz they'll just call it "entertainment," & that's really all it is anymore, right? Sensationalism & BS...THAT's what we can expect from our news agencies, not anything resembling "the facts."
Dammit! Now it looks like I'll hafta do a bunch of checking up on the real story, just to be sure that the wife can feel safe in her new car...or be safe...
