This guy was really good, but omg is he fun to watch!

I loved this band, almost as much as I hated thier singer! Still, watch at the end, as the drummer gets this rapturous look on his face. This guy knows how to get into a song!

Wow...I accidently found the very next part to the one above.

What a versatile & truly unique bunch of musicians!

I showed this to my son. He says the drummer looks like that chick that snorted Ajax in the 1st Cheech & Chong movie...I agree...at least as far as the facial expressions go...overall, she was much better looking, imho...

Hey, thanks, Klugmo. I really liked that band, musically, but I never really liked thier vocals at all. They used elements of classical, rock, jazz, & folk in thier stuff & fuzed it all into a completely unique sound. I respect that sorta thing, esp when the musicianship is this good.

Okay...I think this is my very first official "bump"

I could be wrong...but I'm not remembering any before this...

I'm curious to see what others think, though

Just try to stay in time with these guys. They're a challenge for many ppl. Top-notch musicians doesn't begin to describe them...

They were downright playful in thier melodies & rhythms, yet far beyond most of everything I've ever heard before or since...

wow
reminded me of just how many tons of keyboard it used to take to get the same sounds as a 1 lb module now.

weird music..
my brother in-law would love it!

Well in the 70's I toured with

a chopped Hammond B3 /w 2- 122 Leslies ( 800 lbs)
a Fender Rhodes 73 (75 lbs)
a Mellotron (75 lbs)
a Clav D (50 lbs)
a Mini Moog D synth (25 lbs)
a Miro Moog synth (20 lbs)
a Arp Odyssey synth (25 lbs)
a Aries System III synth (75 lbs)
a 12 channel mixer
and several FX modules

it wasn't the weight as much as the sheer volume of pieces and the foot print that I took up on the stage and the time to set it all up.

In comparision ... the tour I did this winter with Mystic Bowie

a Hammond XK3 Pro System (B3 /upper & lower manuals) /w a 142 Leslie (120 lbs)
a Roland synth (30 lbs)

it's a lot easier on my back now-a-days :D

WOW! That's a lot of stuff, man! I'm glad you got it sorted down a bit.

That Hannah Ford is one incredible drummer, Ron. Thanks. She doesn't make those really cool faces, though.
