Usher's Yukon Gold Plundered by Thieves

Usher probably should have left home without it.

More than $1 million worth of jewelry, furs and electronics—Christmas gifts, the singer said—was stolen from his SUV while it was parked near an Atlanta mall on Dec. 14, the Georgia capital's Fox 5 News reported Monday.

According to the police report, the R&B star was patronizing a nearby AT&T store when a burgundy Chevy Impala with tinted windows pulled up next to his GMC Yukon.

A man in his early twenties got out of the Impala, broke open one of the Yukon's doors and made off with the goods, a witness told police.

A source also told Fox 5 that the "My Way" singer was particularly concerned about two laptops that were stolen because they contained a few never-before-heard tunes that he's been working on.

Not that he seemed fazed at the time. That afternoon, Usher tweeted, "o tomorrow is a TV interview what should the look be suit & tie or jeans [and] boots?"

You'd think he could have afforded to pay a body guard a grand or two, to keep an eye on ONE MILLION DOLLARS in gifts LEFT IN A VEHICLE, wouldn't you?

Is this an example of being oblivious to the real world?

I mean... I don't even like leaving my cell phone in my car!

If you were a thief and you saw a GMC Yukon all pimped out, with spinning hubcabs etc double parked, I bet you'd know it was time to "cash in" as well.

Usher is just too rich and doesn't really care all that much.

Yep. Pretty stupid to drive that stuff around, let alone leave it in your frikken car. I'd have been tempted to take it, too, if I'da seen it, cuz things are bad around here, & he obviously needs to smarten up a bit! Let's hope he learned a lil lesson...albeit a rather expensive one!

I,m proud for him. Anybody whom is that rich & that stupid deserves to get ripped off.
