GO VIK"S

I never would have thought the Vikings could destroy the Cowboys the way they did last week. I mean the Cowboys offensive line looked all-world over the last month, and the Vikings pass rush made it look like Swiss cheese, full of holes. If the Vikings can play that way Sunday I don't see the Saints beating them. It'll be more difficult because the Saints are at home, but being the Vikings also play indoors they may have a better advantage than the teams that play outside do. I'm predicting the Vikings to win Sunday by about ten points. But then they are likely to face the Colts in the Superbowl. Nobody is beating the Colts this year. Peyton Manning is the best QB in footbal and he's RED HOT right now, AND the Colts defense looks awesome. My Superbowl prediction: Colts 24 Vikings 16.

Go Vikings, I am a JET fan, I am also a FAVRE fan. I would love to see both teams in the Super bowl. I might even feel bad if Brett lost.......

Maybe in a few years, NOT this year, sorry Chip.

I just dont see the Vikings going into the superdome and winning.
The mass of emotionally charged people there will be overwhelming.
If the saints q.b. remains upright for most of the game, I think new orleans wins.

Although... a Manning / Farve superbowl would be the most compelling to me.

Decades ago, my father always told me "Don't ever bet against the Cowboys and don't ever bet against the Vikings"

But that was a LONG TIME ago now. :-)

I think the Saints have the edge, playing at home, and Reggie Bush was spectacular in his last game, and has performed well against the Vikings in the past. If he is on his game, and with the Saints playing at home... I think it is dificult for the Vikings to pull out the win.

Should be a good game though!

I think it will be the Saints and Colts in the Superbowl. But they are probably the two best teams right now, and history says that one of them won't make it. Historically, something always seems to happen, and it is rarely the two best teams facing off.

But we'll see.

I do think, however, if history holds true, and one of the other teams pulls it out, it will be the Jets.

People of the state of Louisiana,
you have a four day notice to vacate your houses and head inland.
Hurricane Brett is coming and is expected to hit land January 24th.
Who dat? It's the Vikings and we're coming to pillage.

Not a big football fan, too much sweaty guys jumping on each other and patting each other on the ass. But hey I'm from Detroit we don't have football here.

I'm from St. Louis. Went to a game against the Lions one year. I think we were both 0-8 for the year. It was the saddest most depressing game I've ever seen. Never been back inside the Jones Dome since. The Detroit fans were cool though. Had a blast in the parking lot.

I think I want the Saints to go all the way. I dont have any attachments to any of these teams. But thinking about how torn up that city was, I just think it would be cool for them to win it all.
