Hey everyone, so I'm posting this as an update. The vocalist I'm currently working with came by again and we recorded his vocals to another song. Keep in mind the music is going to be re-recorded because it was done on my old 8 track and needs too much tweaking.
Check out "Tear Me Apart".
Do you like the feel? The chorus is a little weak right now because we're waiting on this female vocalist to record the counter-part but I'm digging things so far. Hope you like it!
Again, thanks for all the great feedback on "How To Feel". I'm remixing that and have new drums recorded so look for an update to that soon!
Here's a link to the myspace for this side project.

I gotta tell you, es, I like your stuff. When this started out I was thinking it sounded like Incubus, for some reason (I dunno why, I'm not even that familiar with thier work & chances are I'm thinking of someone else). Your singer has a good voice for this, although I souldn't get all the words on my crappy spkrs. Excellent tune. It has a great feel. Keep it up!

great song! real potential. Would suggest you need a bit more punch in the chorus. After the 2nd "we are" you need to change to another chord to add a lift otherwise you'll fall into MOR (middle of the road) territory.
Verse is perfect - need to add additional sound in 2nd verse (shows variance from 1st one - synch occilation from a MOOG synch or something), you could then put in a pause before you "pow" into the "we are" part again.
POD meets Linkin meets Limp (but need a signature sound in there that people will always go - yeah that's Follow the Blind)
Good luck cause man if I was there I'd love to have been around a great sounding crew like yours.
regards
Lex (UK)

You've got a lot of Breaking Benjamin influence in your stuff. Influence though - not copying. And I like that. I mean, you can hear the influences, but it's not a ripoff.
I love your stuff man. I've said it before.
I'll be interested in hearing it after you rework the music.

Didn't listen.
You know you are good so I consider this a spam. It would be great if you partitioned your mind and evolved into someone who would offer help or even a comment on other peoples work but you don't.
Sure you'll have riches. Much luck in everything.

I'm going to be honest here. I hear a lot of potential in your project. But like someone said about your first song you posted, this particular style might be a little late in coming around. Although I hear a great sound production, I also feel like I'm listening to late '90s to early 2000 music, even some hints of late 80's glam, which is very hard to get across to people these days. Although I'm predicting the guitar hero mentality to fade out soon, that's not to say that rock fans will be reverting back to a Nu-Metal stage or Dokken style vocals..
The first thing I would suggest with this song is that it needs to be more up-tempo. It feels too slow to me. Imagine the tempo at about +10 and you might catch my drift.
I hear the talent. Great sound, nicely arranged, but I think you really need to think about a direction that separates you from that genre.
Once again, the recording quality is awesome. I'm just not sure how many people will be willing to listen to a whole album unless you start writing stuff at a faster tempo to mix in. The click between the two songs so far seem to be maybe +/-1 or 2 apart and somewhere around the 80-85 mark (just thinking off the cuff). If we're using that as a mark, I'd personally like to hear you guys click it up to about 95 for the next song. Put that singer to work. See how he is outside of that comfort zone.

Vocals should kick in at 24sec mark.
Background vox is in front of lead at beginning of chorus.
I would try to change drum pattern 2-3 times during song.
Excellent guitar feel throughout song.
Just my opinion.
