It has begun !!
We have recieved our first gig contact for 2010.
A two Church, Youth Rally / Lock-in, to be held in February.
And off of my old crappy home made pro pac too.

CONGRATULATIONS. But I have ask, what is a Lock In? Captive audience? =:)

Mine was Friday night. Cold, few in the audience, my feet froze but it wasn't too cold in the building. (air blowing in under the stage) Went pretty well overall except for no crowd. Should have more soon.

I got nuffin! The 2 gigs I had set up went the way of the dodo cuz the bar has been closed. I still have that other bar that wants me to play, but I've been holding off until this cold thingie goes away.

On another topic...that guitarist we've been trying out isn't gonna work for us. So back to the drawing board there...

Speaking of cold, how ya doin over there George?

It's been unusually cold the past few days, my thermometer said 10° yesterday, not sure if that's accurate but I know it got to 14° a couple of times, and around 20° just after daylight this morning. The night we played it was already down to near 20° when we left at 11PM or so.

Phil, I haven't checked out your neck of the woods, but if it's been anywhere near what we're getting here I know you haven't been outside much the past few days...

Doing ok Billy. Tomorrow should be our first morning above freezing this year. Unusual here. No busted pipes or frozen dogs so all's good.
Power bill may be a beatch though.

Friend hooked me up with a firewall, new virus protection and a back up hard drive after he cleaned up and repaired my machine.

"Lock in" (this one) = Three Churches renting space for an overnight youth rally (hence the term lock in).
The sponsor has to run it past the venue, But I foresee no hold ups at this point.

Still on line for the studio too.

My first gig with Audian is next Friday. We have another gig tentatively scheduled for Feb. Time to get out and play folks!
