Welp... we discovered that wehave Black mold in ye olde apartment.
Moving into a different place and all that.
It's very overwhelming though...

Have to chuck everything we owned and just go. (Well, we are 'supposed' to.)
Keeping a few things cuz I just cant get rid of them.
I'll just sanitize them the best I can and cross my fingers.

Might as well have had the f**k burn to the ground. Same end result.
In between chucking stuff out, i'm reaading the forum and stuff.

Kind of mentally paralyzed in between chucking sessions because,
well, I dunno why, it's just overwhelming.

Sans, you know anything about toxic black mold?

Mold spores are really bad for you, they cause all types of bad stuff and like you had a really bad problem for years. It wasn't healthy at all. Even my sick cat got better on moving.

If you value stuff then perhaps there might be a way to clean it? I'm sure there is but for the most part anything you will not touch that often should really be placed away from you and your folks. Depends on how easy some stuff is to clean I suppose?

Sorry to hear about your plight

CHLORINE - it'll kill just about anything.

Man, that really sucks, Zip. Sorry to hear about your problem. Hopefully, when you move, all will be better.

I've no medical experience with the whole black mold thing.
Been afraid to look under my own place been so wet lately.
I,ve heard tell it's a beotch to get rid of. But chlorine and a dry atmosphere will kill anything IMO.

Sorry bout the bad news. :(

Hope ya'll can make the best of it.

As long as it stays away from your axes, nothing is sacred, man! Good luck though.
