I am not sure if I dig it. Made me think outside of the box for 30 sec.

outside of the box? Debatable. Certainly it's 'gimmicky'.. but As far as if there was no video, I would have said .. "meh.. standard 1-4-5, nothing to see, move along..."
As far as the gimmick goes, it seems to me along the same lines as driving a ford pinto in a Nascar race.. gimmicky? yes. Practical, er.. no.

Wow! I just saw this guy at a benefit in a little pub that I play in down here. He was providing guitar accompanyment for an old blues player and he was not playing like that, he was just layed back playing this old guys songs. They were very entertaining just the two of them on stage playing some kickarse blues. They stole the show!
