Larry Knechtel R.I.P.

Well I was sad to see this morning that Knechtel died this past August. Certainly not a household word, but truly versatile in the recording studio. Among many other contributions, he played the bass on The Byrd's version of "Mr. Tambourine Man", the piano on Simon, and Garfunkle's "Bridge Over Troubled Water, and the wah wah guitar fills on Bread's Guitar Man.

Sad, a lot of entertainers we grew up with are passing away. Time marches on unfortunately. :(
