Just wishing all my Bandmix friends the best Thanksgiving ever. Almost every year my Thanksgiving consists of a great meal from Henhouse Supermarket, all we do is heat it up. Then football games, and sometimes disc golf and/or fishing. There just isn't a better holiday IMO than Thanksgiving.

I get to drive & drive & drive for my dinner, just like the pilgrims did. I hate reenactments!

I'm goin' to Richmond to see ppl I really have nothing whatsoever in common with (& don't even LIKE, for the most part), to do what I'd MUCH rather be doing at home, & I don't even get to cook.

I just made some smoked venison soup. It's kinda strange, but very tasty. I've never had a smokey soup before, but it works somehow. I was gonna experiment a little more & also make my usual traditional stuff. Eh...maybe next weekend...

So the wife, looking at the soup, asks if we're gonna take anything. I suggest the soup. She reminds me that her sister is vegetarian or vegan or one of them odd things.

We had her sister over one time for T-day. I remember the hell I went through trying to figger out what the heck to make her. I ended up making her her very own "vegetarian turkey." I made it out of kholrabi & cabbage & garlic & parmesan cheese & it had these little legs made outta cauliflower with brocolli wings. It was very festive & a huge pain in the ass to make, but I doubt it was very good to eat...lol... She seemed to like it, though, & took the rest of it with her (perhaps to throw away). I remember it was quite green, but it did resemble a turkey!

So, recalling the frikken frakken frukken hassle all of THAT was, & keeping in mind that we also hafta TRAVEL with whatever we take, I decided to take a few bottles of wine this time.

:D

It might be a heppy thanksgiving after all! Most of her relatives are extremely strict southern baptists, & SOMEONE hasta drink the wine!

Um...maybe I'll take my sherry-&-honey-soaked fruit salad, too...just to be nice...

I really hope you folks have a great holiday & enjoy it to its fullest!

Thanks Bob, and a happy turkey day to you and everyone else also.

George - Check in here and we'll try to get in touch, it looks like I may be headed to Lufkin on turkey day, we might be able to meet somewhere for a few either on my way or on the way back. I'll know later on, I have to rebuild my back brakes today, and if that goes well I'm outta here tomorrow.

To love boys, now quite normal phenomenon. It it is not necessary to hide, are afraid it is necessary to tell all openly. It can and will make each happy.

Happy Turkey Day Bob. :D
I'll be working, and as usuall we will be short of staff on a holiday. :(
But we,ve got a good crew and the ladies do a good job of watchin my back for me.
I,m telling you boys streight up that the majority of the hospital admins and a good portion of the doctors dont give a flyin fluke about good patient care or staff safety. It's really going to shyt these days.
Stack'em like cord wood to get em in, and kick em out without even checking their lab work. Damn sad, damn sad.
I hate working for satan, but he seems to be the only one hiring right now.

Like I said, for ME not carnally. I DON'T love boys carnally, not that there's anything wrong with that, just not for ME. Now, love women carnally, that's another story...

I love you guys tooooo. This is the first site that I belong to that is NOT predominantely female and I love it. I have more things in common with you guys than the women on the other sites. It is nice to have a bunch of friends who do not have hot flashes. My husband is just going to have to get over the fact that I love so many men.

I love reading about how you relate to your families, how you love your wives, political views and your love of female anatomy...it's priceless...priceless I tell ya. Oh yeah, I also love talking about music and the opportunities that are springing up with collaboration...Yep, luv you guys. I HEART Y"ALL. Happy THanksgiving and eat lotsa food.
