The very week they started selling these damned "FSC" cigarettes, my ears went cafflooey. Then my friends started having problems, too. Now they're telling my wife she has asthma.

"Coincidence," you might say. Bullspit! I am so sure that this is the spark that exasperated my weakened ear condition, caused Dddonnie's bronchitis, Mike's new sinus problems, & my wife's asthma. It seems to have hit all of us at the very moment these frikken things were foisted on us.

You mark my words - these f*ckin' things are way worse than any real, regular cigarette, &, like I predicted many years ago, they're forcing me to quit through nefarious means, the bastards!

They don't stop fires, either, as my recent experience in my office proves.

They are awfuly hard to keep lit, though, so you hafta smoke faster & suck harder to keep them going, which oughta keep the ciggy manufacturers happy.

I've come to the conclusion that nobody is ever gonna leave well enough alone around here, & it's pissing me off to the point that I'm ready for a whole new environment. Costa Rica, anyone? Maybe I'll just go be an illegal in Mexico. THAT would serve 'em right!!!!'

Guess I'm gonna hafta grow my own tobacco now. I'm picking up a pair of breeder rabbits tomorrow, & with the deer I keep getting & the pigs I get from the Mennonites, I should be nearly free of female hormones soon.

Now all I gotta do is figger out how to fake getting the flu vaccine, cuz I SURELY don't want to actually get it, & I don't wanna go to jail, either!

Do I seem a lil paranoid to you?

Sorry to hear about this. I know its hard because everyone was so hopeful those things would help break them from that horrible addiction. I quit smoking 2 times before I finally succeeded the 3rd time, that was one of the hardest things I ever did.

I think that invention is going to be a lot like the opti-grab. Everyone remembers that little invention from the movie The Jerk right. LOL

This ain't the E-cig, JH. These are being sold as regular old cigarettes in almost every state (soon to BE every state, btw!), & they're s'posed to go out on their own easily, so as not to start fires. Imagine that! You can't even light a frikken fuse with a cig anymore!

Btw, I'm returning the E-cig I bought, cuz the atomizer they replaced still leaks!

Hey Crip - how's yours working out for ya? Maybe I should try the brand you got.

Ryan, when I started, they were still saying that it either wasn't bad for you, or actually good for you. Spent my entire life (if you count 2nd hand smoke) with the stuff in my lungs!

Difficult is not the word. I admit that I'm a junky. I doubt I've gone a full day EVER without a bit of the stuff breathed in at some point.

Still...I'm trying in my own ways, but the wife just got me a whole carton, thinking she was doing me a favlr... ...in spite of my plans to go off the things today...

Ah well...just cuz I have ;em don't mean I gotta smoke 'em, right?

(Yeah, RIGHT! )

Philby the 3rd and final attempt for me as I was successful. I had a carton in 1988. I threw them away 6 months later. I just kept setting short term goals and meeting them. I quit cold turkey. My thought process back then was I made it 1 day I wonder if I can make it 2 before I knew it a week went by and then a month after one month you have pretty much done it. It was a period of 6 months before those awful cravings ended and I was still having the cravings on occasion up until about a year I hope and pray you can beat the hold nicotine can have on you. Keep in mind the moment you decide to quit your health starts to improve, but its your choice bro.

I think its impossible to determine a death from one single cause these days. We are all, yes all of us doing things to ourselves and that hasn't changed really has it since primeval times (perhaps?)

I don't know what I'm trying to say really because everything you say can get taken like a pill, consumed and just like this argument, a cause not found.

Are there any real substitutes? I doubt it.
There was an alcy free beer back home. I used to halve it with live alcohol but it taste awful.
