Your wife participates in roller derby? Isn't that where you roller skate around in circles and try knocking your competitors on their fannies? I can think of safer activities than roller derby.

Thanks guys . Its been a tough row to hoe but its been a lot of good times with a few not so good. She started with the derby about 4 months ago. My youngest daughter has been on the team about 3 years now. Somebody said its like football on wheels and it can be pretty rough sometimes. But the training is good enough to keep them pretty safe. They get banged up pretty good in the matches every now and then. I've been spending a lot of time playing in 3 different bands lately and I'm glad she's got something to keep her busy and happy, they spend a lot of time promoting as well as training. I like to buy guitars and junk, shes into houseplants and the derby. Seems like a fair trade most times. What do ya'll do to keep your other halves happy while you try rocking the world ? I know a lot of guys that can't seem to get it right. I wonder how I got so lucky !
I did learn Jim Croces "Roller Derby Queen" , a song that seems to make em smile .
You can check em out .

Look for Mama Knuckles and Brass Knuckles Brandy.

They go round and round !

Hopefully I'll have some new songs up soon!

But another day in Paradise !!!

Congrats man! I was married for 23 years. It ain't easy.

My daughter started a roller derby league in Tacoma, WA. Her team was the Dockside Derby Dames. Rough stuff, but then she was on a travel hockey team too.

I like roller derby.

My buddies think it's bunk, but I could watch that all day long.

The only problem is that it can be a little confusing to tell when they actually score.

No matter, I like girl on girl violence. LOL

Yeah, it's all good until one woman removes her shoe.. lol

Then it's time to break it up, else serious shoe marks may result..

Try taking a skate up , Oh well you know where. but seriously, I think we get along a lot better since shes had enough to keep her busy. She works full time, is the president of my plumbing co. , takes care of me, and does the roller derby thingy. I think I might get her to start collecting some of the money some people owe us. Woe to them !!

Another day in Paradise !!!
