I just uploaded my video to my profile and I just thought what the hell, youtube can have it.
ANYONE ELSE? post your stuff here too!
*I'm not certain if 'embedding' works, better just stick to links for now.
If you care to know, I'm just a 24 year old girl (immature lady) teaching myself theory and techniques.
This is a sloppy guitar cover of 'Pull The Plug' by DEATH

Was that a custom effect on your cam or is that how your cam works after you dropped it?
Maybe it's my monitor?
I saw a blue line down the middle of the vid.
Def different.

that 'effect' is created just by tweaking with the different picture levels... like exposure, brightness, contrast, saturation, etc. but messing around with those turned a blurry ray from the light above me, into the blue streak down the middle.

Pretty good cover of one of the greatest bands to ever walk this Earth. But I got one question...How come you never show your face? In the video, it's hidden by an effect, and on your myspace, you just have a South Park character, and no other pictures
Is it a privacy thing?
Just wondering...

Perhaps he's scared of you Ryan?

Nice playin' SmellKellHell. Did you have to keep the volume down to keep from waking somebody? Crank it!!

alright! THANKS for watching
I can't believe someone thought of Jennifer Batten, way cool. But the bleach does still cut through those 'video effects'
... just give me a couple more years and I'll be tapping, busting out harmonics, perhaps even throw in a solo or two
But the whammy I won't bother with until I have a guitar tech, lmao

If you can hear my guitar through the music, you may notice that most of my playing is always a bit sharp. Since this video was filmed, I had been focusing more on just playing bass. I found a 'mikro' that suits me quite naturally.
It seems like the month or so, of not touching my guitar, has made me more aware of well everything that goes on while I play...
this sounds goofy, but just simple vibration is becoming clearer than ever.
My ears notice every tiny harmonic that fingers and pick make just from fretting and striking the string. I now focus on eliminating any and all noise other than the desired note. I want my playing to sound immaculate.
Currently I'm working on an old Racer X (PAUL GILBERT) tune, 'Technical Difficulties'

Finally, the face thing... it's more so I can tell my friends, 'no! that person you found on the net, who likes metal and also calls themself smellkell, is totally not me'
plus crazy sort of runs in the family, so showing signs of paranoia is not uncommon.

Don't hide The Metal. Be proud. It's a good thing to like Metal. It shows that you can choose your own musical tastes without just following what everyone else is doing. Which is more than I can say for all the Kanye West fans out there...
Virgil Griffith's survey showed that college SAT takers who listen to Rock, Metal, and Classical music scored more than twice as high as those who listen to rap, hip-hop, reggae...and Kanye West.
The Metal is good for you.

hahaha ok, i actually like some rap, i find it mildly entertaining so i cant really talk sh*t but i did read a study that showed that ppl were actually dumber for having listened to lil wayne. which makes sense. ebonics is not a language. i wish i could find that article again.

depending on mood, i can appreciate any form of music.
i think the whole genre thing should be abandoned and we just call the music what it is... by the song title, album and artist. simple.
