I dunno if this is legal...in fact, I'm fairly certain that it isn't...but I just shot a deer through my kitchen window again. That's 2 for Philby, & 1 for the deer! (and it ain't even deer season yet!)
While it IS legal to shoot deer on your property, as they are nuisance critters, it isn't legal to do it in my neighborhood (plus, I'll bet they frown on ppl shooting through their windows)...but ya know what? I really don't care! That's about 2 weeks of meat for my freezer & 1 less damned deer to run in front of my car! It's out there draining right now.
There were 3 of them, & after I shot, I went out & the other 2 were STILL hanging around like dumbasses! I coulda gotten another, if I'd known & planned for it.
I feel good! (na-na-na-na-na-na-na!)
So now I hafta teach my son how to dress out a deer...ttfn!

Thats some funny sh!t Philby, you should build you a porch blind or better yet you could cut a hole out of the back of your trunk lid and lay in the back of your trunk! Oh well the guy that invented that system got himself fried last night!
Deer season already started here last Saturday and a woman driving down the highway got shot in the cheek by a stray bullet. They have the bullet and believe it was a freak accident. She has a nice little scar on her face and the poor thing is minus a few teeth.

Philby, I ain't mad atcha. What you did was very green. You shot something that is free of antibiotics plus it was free range and it must have died without the stress of being butchered like cattle. If it were a stressful death then why didn't the other dear run like chickens with their heads cut off? This meat was also cost effective.

I'm pleased as punch, myself. I figger I can prolly get a few more if they're this stupid, before the year's over.
Bow season's in here, JH, & maybe guns for bucks, but I got a doe. A lil bitty one, at that. But I was in a hurry cuz it's STICK night & I only have time to clean a lil one right now!

Eh...I ain't skeered...I got GUNS!
LOL
In all seriousness, it IS legal to shoot obnoxious critters, & these were eating my hostas. My neighbors have heard shots before & never complained.
let 'em come & git me if they wanna...at least I'll have health care, right?
This lil ol' thing was only about 75-80 lbs...maybe even less...I missed out on the bigger ones cuz I was in a hurry to be ready for STICKS. They'll be back, & when they do, I'll be READY FOR THEM!!!! heh heh heh

I still have my friend's smoker, so I'm gonna smoke the hind quarters & the fish. That's about all I took offa this lil bitty thing. 'Twas hardly worth even cleaning out, really...well...I DO have the heart, cuz I LOVE cooking that.
I roll it as I cut it, until it's laid out like a tongue. Then I put bacon in it, & roll it back up. More bacon on the outside, toothpick it & cook...MMMMMMMMMMM! Tender, juicy, tasty, & a fine meal for two or 3 ppl!
