This is how I found our drummer and bassest.
It is the "approved" way of finding band members, and much more effective than posting in the forums. I would be surprised if there is anyone within 200 miles of you whom is on the forum. You can narrow the search to your zip code area. Be aware thre is alot of deadwood profiles, but message everyone. Good luck.

Tried that, no one look`s at their mail?? All I`m doing is asking for players cuz more people look @ the forums then their mail.

I spent months sending messages and searching every day.
My hit ratio was probably 50 to 1.
But it did work for me.

I had a thread up trying to find guitar player 3 time`s in a row they took it down. 1st time on the phone they said it was cause I had a web site addy on there. I see that all the time. I guess they thought it was my email? Rest of the time it was nothing except Looking for guitar players.

Now with this ad no try to start anything just saying if Iwanted freedom of speech shot out from under me I`d move to Russia. No one checks their profiles and was finally just able to put some work I did on an album on last night thanx to Craig. Seem`s like more get`s done here., but the admin gestepo keep`s yaking my chain & it`s getting me a bit mad. Why pay or resign?
Had gotten good lead`s & advice on how to use this . All gone now though!! Cooled down now though found a loop hole!
