Cant keep my boys healthy enough to get in a full practice, much less slay at a gig. Steve-o, now Bigfoot too. DANG !!
And it's already November.

I've had a cold all weekend..

Ya know, our band moved to a studio to practice for a couple months. The band decided that we didn't like it very much, and wanted to move back into my house to practice.

First night back, and 2 members show up sick and make me sick as a result. Needless to say, I'm not too happy about it. New rules will be set in place form here on out. I'm not going through this kind of thing again. Especially in my own home.

I'm sure that they will. Your in the wrong place in any case as regards work but I'm sure anything that rides on your back and enters has made you all of much tougher stuff.

Looking back in August I was sicker than a dog for about five days, including three consecutive days at 103 degrees. I heard that's the classic symtom of swine flu. It's possible I had that back then. It was just starting to come into this region. Hopefully I don't get sick the rest of the Winter. That would be a welcome change...

My doc has me on Norco 4x's a day for herniated discs

Firoicet w/codiene for intense migraines and

10mg's of Valium 2x's a day for severe anxiety...

I am now trying to wean off this sh¡t and it's godawful! but...

Go sloooowly. Diazepam withdrawl can be UGLY.

....tell me about it! Weening off the other 2 ain't any easier... been taking them 4 x's a day for many years now.... They want me to operate on my neck but there's no way in hell... I'll wait till I can't freakin' move before they go cutting in there!

Look at the national health statistic data base. Now losing children, even one, thats a shame, but this big flu scare, statisticaly is a sham.
No flu untested flu shots for my kids. Only God knows what the side effects of this crap wil be.

Oh, and Steve was back behind the skins last night where he belongs. Now if we can get Tony healthy again, we might record a song.

I was shocked when I thanked everyone for looking after my wife all who looked at me like I was Satan himself.

The real big deal here is that peeps think its a job. It's not and the lovely people I was fortunate enough to meet didn't see it like that either.

This by the way was on CURRENT health care. Damned if you do certainly damned if you don't.

Have you ever run a code?
Have you ever been in the room while I did?
Ever given unprotected mouth to infected trach resucitation because there was no time to waste looking fior a mask ??
Ever have the blood shoot up between your fingers while doing CPR and have your coworker with a "calling" passout beside you?
Where were you when I had my finger stuck in a bleeding artery on the side of the road at an accident ??
I am more patient advocate than a whole room full of warm fuzzy nurses or phony vaccine selling doctors.
If you dont understand my point of veiw perhaps it's because you are not a warrior or a nurse.
I live my commitment to my patients daily I dont have to read about it.
Perhaps the "crap" your tired of, you dont truly understand to start with.
