Bandmix tolerates alot of BS, I know this from when I first came to this sit as Ace. The one thing they do not tolerate is posting of "priveleged" information. What I mean by that is, personal information, certain web links, and libelous statements. They don't have time to fish through each thread to see what post is what, so they usually just delete the whole thread if it gets legitimate complaints. I had to complain when someone started posting not only my full name, but home address and phone number. They wiped that whole thread fast.

What I find most amusing bout this site is, the reason alot of these guys here hate me comes from back when I did that concert promotion and had a forum battle with Hayden King over a misunderstanding at the show. Hayden and I are now civil to each other and communicate outside of bandmix in a friendly manner, we have resolved our issues...unfortunately, some untrue things were believed and not forgotten, so now anything I say that is in disagreement with some of the guys here is automatically met with hostility.

Frankly, I'm surprised to see there are a couple new names in the forums since I was last here, like you GLENJ, usually new people are quickly chased away by this forum family. I am not saying that is a bad thing, its quite typical where people become friends in a forum and dont take well to any criticism from outsiders. Happens in every bar in America, thats why it can be difficult for a new band to get gigs, or even an established band with a following, if you're following is new, they wont feel welcome.

Sad really...I love that the internet is modeled after the first amendment of the US constitution though, freedom of speech can be fun when you feel rejected and want to piss on those who reject you just because you are an outsider with a different opinion. Hell, some of these guys want to do me physical harm for a difference of opinion...

Actually I had the same damned trouble a few months back. Yes it's on purpose, yes its malicious and quite likely yes a couple of regulars on here could be BM themselves.

There was nothing in the posts that I had deleted that would warrant it either.
Pays yah money, yah makes yah choice.

Yea, there is the occasional pissing match, but I dont recall anyone getting bent over an honest helpfull critique.
Disagreements , well yea, but thats music.
