But you should probably write a book about what's wrong with the country and what's wrong with religion, and everything else... but in that cynical humor style you've been cracking us up with.

Wouldn't that be something? If all that built up cynicism suddenly made you a wealthy humorist and author?

I have often thought od attempting to get published somewhere, it's true.

I still can't for the life of me figger out how to get started at it, though.

I wrote a cpl diatribes for the local paper's Editorial section that got printed, but I don't think many ppl liked it...

If you have a lot of time on your hands maybe get it organized and put it to good use. I think you have a penchant for journalism, why not give it a try?

Guess I'll hafta get started on that novel, eh?

I ought to do a lil search & see how ppl get started in that field. Nothing else I'm trying is working...

Humor's a little bit of a niche.

Like you said in the other thread... you don't like Jim Carrey, but alot of others do. George Carlin too. I love him. Some people hate him.

Maybe that's what you should pitch first?

A regular column in a newspaper.

If it gets syndicated after a little time, you could write a book based on that popularity.

I've had this dream for YEARS about writing a book on baseball. I believe I have a great idea for something a little different. I'm no expert on anything so my book will be based on my subjective opinions. If I ever do publish it I'll let everybody know. First I have to get a CD done. I've been talking with Jersey Bill Miller, a fine blues guitarist in New Jersey I used to play with. We're talking seriously about collaborating on some tunes. Maybe we could get Kent Miller to lay down some harmonnica tracks. That guy is WORLD CLASS great. He's a fire breathing dragon on harmonica, the best I ever heard. I know so many people that want to contribute ideas, I just need to get it organized. A CD would be LONG overdue. Lowell Premer would be a great studio guitarist, I'll ask him if he would be interested.

Looks like healthcare bill passed the House. Next comes the Senate. I believe it'll be a lot tougher to pass there. The recent votes will have some Senators taking a very good long look at this bill, especially if they want to keep their jobs come 2010. Don't be surprised if it stalls and is not passed this year...
