I'm online here in the K.C. area at 2:55 am. Just got back from our second gig at The Hideout, Spring Hill, Kansas. There was a small but appreciative crowd. They made a profit tonight I'm sure. Left my bnad banner there though, hope nobody rips it off...I just finished loading all the PA equipment into my basement myself as usual. What a pain in the ass. Every band member lives far from here. Can't expect them to come all the way here then drive home. It's okay, I'm a big man, I can handle it...

Yeah. It's lonely at the top, bob.

Sounds like a good gig, though.

Hey Bob!

Someone pass me a brewski, it's becoming a late-night party in here!

One thing's for sure, when I get home this late from a gig I can't get to sleep. I'm all revved up. I'm also way past my sleep cycle. Once I'm past it I can't sleep to save my life. I usually end up watching sports highlights on ESPN, or in this case hop on Bandmix. Didn't expect to see you guys here this late. It was a good gig. Boy did my bass amp sound SWEET tonight. I just love that TNT 115. I've never played through anything that has that exact tone. It's so thick you can cut it with a knife. And just a little high end on top. I've played through extremely expensive amps that don't compare to the tone I get with the TNT. We sounded GREAT tonight IMO. Lowell Premer helped out on guitar, what a stylish player. Anyway, I got to try and sleep. I'm not going to have much luck though...

You still looking for a guitar player, bob?

A very good friend of mine died while doing a final mix in the early hours one day. All that time wasted chatting to stay up late? :D
I was out cold by 10:00 last night.

Raring to go today.

Gee, Chippy, I wish I could sleep like I did just a month or two ago...those were the days, man!

Still...I was up again before 8, made some coffee, & I'm rarin' to go (back to sleep)

Hey, Paul was up last night pretty late, too, if the time he posted in Canada is any indicator....wonder why he didn't join us...

I don't always Phil but I've started teaching myself to calm down a little before what most feel is bedtime.

Perhaps its a Muso thing? (Staying up late). I know the people I've met over here are often awake in the wee hours.

I was up late Phil. This was the last thread I read before hitting it. My 3 year old woke me up. I came downstairs to find my wife reading a book. She's usually in bed by 10. Then the computer sucked me in for a couple of hours. The girls are sick this morning so I stayed home from church with them.

Hope they feel better, Paul.

Take a nap, man! You prolly need it.
