So you're getting your wife back, eh?
I just got rid of mine for the weekend. She's off to help her grandma do some stuff. I think I was s'posed to be there, but I opted out because the band is auditioning that new guitarist tomorrow. (I thought we were doing it in the AM, but just found out it's at 7 PM! So I guess I should be in trouble again...)
But I'm doing okay, considering my condition. I still haven't bothered getting those damned meds, & I still can't hear for crap, but whatchagonnado? I'm sick of all pills except for the ones I wanna use for recreation...which is pretty rare, in all honesty...I would really like a lil celebratory valium right now, though...those are quite nice!
I did have a funny lil health episode earlier, that has me wondering a bit, but I'll keep that to myself at least for awhile.
I'm looking forward to next weekend. I'm s'posed to go up to Pittsburg & see most of my extended extant family. My aunt's having her 80th b'day party. Of course, I have a solo gig on Fri nite, & the party's on Sat afternoon, so I'll prolly be whipped. Still, I haven't seen any of them on over 11 years, not even my dear sweet sister, which seems like quite a long time, now that I think about it. I prolly shoulda gone up way sooner than this, cuz it ain't that far, really, but life & trivia always seem to get in the way, & my dad taught me to avoid family at all costs...LOL...but he was an even bigger asshole than I am...
I have no idea what "jubly curry" is, but I had some mighty fine curried goat about a week ago. Tonight, it's gonna be me & some thawed out reheated chili & beer. And maybe just a taste of a lil smokey escapes...mmmm
I hope all's well with your lady, Chippy.

Oh gee my life pales by comparison
Yeah other half has been very ill but well on the mend now thank you.
Panic attack?
I still want to get out of NJ and see a heck load more of the USA. that will have to wait for some time I feel but I will get round to it. Back home we used to talk the road and say just how much we'd love to ride on open roads on bikes over here. Well guess what? I'm over here and haven't done that yet!
Families and seeing them sometimes, well getting round to seeing them is often forgotten isn't it what with busy worlds and all that bs. I know I have the same trouble too, but of course distance is a real factor in my problem at the mo.
Jubly Curry is an Indian Curry. Kinda like a stew really but hot and spicy. Forget Mexican food, this leaves a wake that Mexican food gets lost in. Very good for you too if you find a good place that doesn't use too much oil and salt.
Wild? Erm your getting to know me a little better huh?
Keep well yourself pal.

I've heard of the legendary heat in Indian food, but the only stuff I ever tried was watered down vegie mush & I didn't care for it at all
I've heard of the legendary heat of thai food, but when I tried some it was just a very weird mix of flavors that, while it was good, had nothing of what I call heat
I challenged my favorite sushi chef to burn my face off, once, & he tried & failed...until I ate the pickled ginger after, & then it burned like hell & I had to admit it hurt as sweat poured from every pore & he laughed at me...still, it was something about the ginger that really emphasized the heat, kinda like a serrano pepper does
I do love a good burn occasionally, & am disappointed at restaurants & their attempts at it over 90% of the time
