My friend Zack recorded all the guitar parts himself, and I think he did an awesome job.
Vocals, song mixing, and video by me
Enjoy

Okay, I can't say I like it, but I must say you did a fine job on this, in spite of the complete lack of melody in the vocals. (I think that that is my main problem with this genre.) Very good vid skills, too, Ryan.
One question - you say sort of vocals aren't really your style...that confuses me, cuz it sounds so much like the other stuff you do, stylistically. I guess I'm missing the little nuances of the genre.
So, how is this different from your usual vocal style?
Yeah, the guitarist was very good, as well.
I am most impressed with your video skills, Ryan! How the heck do you do it? What kinds of equipment & software do you use?

I forgot to ask before, what software do you use for vids? Especially on some of the other vids, there were some cool effects.

August Burns Red's vocalist does a more "hardcore" style of vocals. It's more of a yell than a scream.
My vocals are more Metal/Death Metal style.
But I like to try every vocal style I hear...It helps me improve and find my groove...Hey, that rhymed!
And I edit all the audio with Cool Edit Pro 2.0, and all the video with Sony Vegas 7.0

Thanks Ryan.
I've thought about Sony Vegas before. How do you like it?
Lots of effects and transitions?

Found this: Vegas "Movie Studio HD" (link above)
It's only $40 bucks.
Is this comparable?
Did you do a free trial first, and if so, was it without restrictions, where you can actually use it and save stuff, before you buy?
Thanks.

It comes with a few, but all mine I got from a pack of effects called BlueFX...It's SUPPOSED to be like $900...but you know...
I can send you Cool Edit Pro and Vegas if you want, lol

To be honest, I've been using Vegas and Cool Edit Pro since I was like 12 years old, and just been updating it ever since. I don't think I've ever used the trial, but I'm sure the trial is very limited

The BlueFX you posted won't work with the MovieStudio though right? Is that different than Vegas? I saw that VegasPro is like $900 bucks or something?
Sorry for all the questions.

I've actually never heard of Movie Studio HD, but it looks like Vegas on steroids, lol. I don't know if the BlueFX would work with it, but they might. I may have to "acquire" this Movie Studio HD...
