MySpace music section

These places actually get responses, especially Mixposure because people using them freely have to post something like ten reviews of other peoples' matieral before they can upload one more song to their initial four freebies. So, there's an incentive.

MySpace has a spotty reputation but I have to say the exposure and response is just so much better than other sites.

Another suggestion Samick - you should upload just mp3s. Three of your songs uploaded to BandMix were in .wav format and that can be problematic for some people plus much fatter in size than an MP3.

I listened to Descending Boogey, nice guitar work on that one. Clearly you are comfortable with acoustic guitar and your instrument has a really nice sound. Your drummer on that track didn't sound exactly with you, tempo-wise, though. Not sure if that was the recording situation or what.

I'd been unable to post mp3s, before. Just got software to allow me to do so. As time allows, I will replace the waves with mp3s.

I like soundclick, they have two memberships...one is ten bux a month and the other is free...plenty of listeners and plenty of comments...

You should try My Space music. It is great exposure for your music. Many people browse and listen.
I have recently gotten airplay on WWOZ radio in New Orleans and was the stations My Space featured artist last week. All as a result of having my profile and music out there.
In addition, I have gotten gig offers that are quite lucrative.

It's working for me, try it out! I've only had my profile on it for about 2 months. The feedback is awesome!
