Welcome to bandmix Artman, You should post some examples of your singing on your site and pics. then do a search for people or bands that are like minded then contact them. Be patient, for a bunch of different reasons they might not get back to you. I have had several people contact me on this site to play in their band. There are a lot of good folks on here that don't mind sharing their vast knowlege of music with you good luck bro! :D

Hey, artman. I'm about 3 hours from you, down here in Ozark, AR. You're close enough to Tulsa to find some serious musicians in the area. You've also got a straight shot over to Fayetteville, AR where there's a good bit of music going on, although that would be more blues and progressive. Tulsa would be a good choice for finding country rock type bands. Also, you're near some Casinos (Tulsa, Siloam Springs) and those are the best paying gigs. Bands that play casinos have to be versatile and if you can sing Eagles, Bryan Adams and more, you should be able to find a band needing a singer. Good luck, and welcome.

thanx for replys, I'll look in tulsa first then. I have always done more on the rock side from rhcpeppers to metallica to whatever asked of me but now I'm getting older and sick of being taxi, equipt borrower, bar keep, etc. I'm hoping a mellower music scene w/produce a mellower group of characters. Although I'll miss the crazies, nothing seriouse seems to happen. babysitters never get paid what there worth,he,he. thanx again
