My favorite Steppenwolf song. For me, John Kay had the best r&r voice of his time - good range, yet masculine on its tone, unlike so many others...

Not crazy about the song but I love the kid on the motorcycle. The look on that face is priceless.

I'm not sure what my favorite would be, but I always loved Slowblind Friend, Sookie Sookie, Rock Me, Don't Step on the Grass Sam and Hey Lawdy Mama.

And for you Blue cheer fans, they showed up when I checked out Rock Me, electrified version of the old blues tune Johnny Winter, Robin Trower and several others covered years ago.

And here's one that really surprised me, BB King and Jeff Beck doing the same song, old blues style:

Jeff Beck is soooo impressive...nobody else plays like that...especially fingerpicking. He switched to all fingerpicking in the 80's I think it was.

Yeah, I think I liked Renegade cuz it was so very different from everything else that band ever did. Almost jazzy in spots.

I liked all those you refered to, Pete. Good stuff.
