Check out the good Capt Scott. He's in your state, but I dunno if he's central...he seems more like an outer rim, on the edge kinda guy...(no offense, Cap!)

that's one of the main reasons I moved to Kansas City in 1987. The cost of living drove me out. Too bad. I'm a bass player, not necessarily the kind of bass player you're looking for, but a bass player nonetheless (and a lead singer).
