Why cant I contact anyone

I'm new at this. I kind of got lured in on the free trial but I can't seem to talk or email anyone.
Do you have to become a registered member by paying a fee to actually talk or email someone?

Yes, and it's been worth it to me. I've used Craig's List, Backpage.com, and other "free" websites to contact musicians. The better musicians have contacted me through Bandmix. Our current line-up has three Bandmixers (our drummer just joined). Can't tell you if it would be wrth it for you, but it's been worth it to me. Good luck, welcome to the forum.

Only reason I used Bandmix is cause I'm bored...I don't expect to find any musicians in my genre here. I find more on myspace, youtube, craigslist, or just meeting people at shows

I dont see an over abundance of Christian rockers on here either Ryan.
But I get a lot of good information and feedback on our musical projects.
That alone was worth the entry fee IMO.
Let alone the fact that two of our five band members came from BandMix.
