Maybe the heterosexuals didn't have to take the detour.

I wonder if they have "gay" and "straight" public restrooms, public drinking fountains in that town as well...

Does that mean you don't like homosexuals?

I dont like homosexuality. I consider it unnatural behavior.
As a Christian I am expected to try to love all men as is right, and true.
Some times in my heart I have diffuculty seperating the actor from the action.

I don't think gays are "acting." I don't think homosexuality is learned behavior. That's just the way they are. I fully understand your discomfort with the behavior. I'm not exactly comfortable around them either. As long as they don't come on to me or my family then I'm okay with it. Live and let live, and keep to yourself, that's okay.

I have old friends whom are homosexual.
They do not make me uncomfortable. I consider their sexuality is no more a part of their soul than mine is.
I do not consider it natural sexuality, any more than I would consider Pedophillia, or Necrophillia natural sexuality because it does not continue the species.
Then again I could be wrong. In that case we should legalise Necrophillic Marrage. To have and hold, till the refrigerator breaks down.

Regardign the sign.. There was a accident on the highway, so I got off and went through a small borough .. apparently the street was closed, it was "Gay St." ... so when they did the sign they forgot to put the ST. on it lol.
Didn't mean to spark a debate on gayness.
Sans,
I respect your position on it, but you have to remember that anyone who isn't christian (or other religions that denounce homosexuality) also has equal right to their opinions and way of life.
comparing homosexuals to necrophilia or pedophiles is unfair and judgmental. As an agnostic, I have a 'live and let live' attitude.. And I also have a stance that marriage is a legal contract, period. It's biblical meaning is entirely within the church(es) and the two should have no real effect on each other.
As an agnostic, I find myself having to "tolerate" everything I find disagreeable, from ALL sides, and if I can keep a fair disposition, I have faith that anyone can!

Bears a striking resemblance to this photo I looked up.
One thing of note in this other photograph is that a tree is behind it and there is what looks like a sewer pipe bottom left, something square looking (Another outward facing sign?). Perhaps?
Although there are trees in the photo I found they are not behind/left they are to the right. There is also what looks like a parked cars Ariel in the foreground.
Also note the window, again not the same place although red bricks do give it a similar look.

I doubt many towns will have the same sign with the same graffiti?
Odd innit.
Elementary Watson!

I dont dispute anyone's right to their opinions.
Nor did I base my comparisons of the various form of sexual deviation psychosis on my religion, but on the reality of nature. ie nonreproductive.
Of course my religious veiw is also against homosexuality (the act). Not Homosexuals. (the actors)
My religious veiw is also that other mens sin is no greater than my own.
Perhaps I should copy and save this point so I dont have to continually explain it. It is really a very simple concept.
We are all equally in need of he saving grace that is ours as a free gift from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Just because one man is dying, does not mean he cannot recognise that others are as well.
I answered Bob's question as succently and honestly as I can.
I dont expect, nor do I care if others are in agreement.
I was asked.
I answered.
