sorry eveyone for not keeping updated. First of all Im playing in two bands. One is pretty good cover bar band. The other is a real good blues band.
I playing anywhere from 2 to 4 nights a week. With a week off here and there. So I play enough live shows to keep me happy. I also have a studio in my house. But its just for home demos and the likes. Gets me ready for the day I do get into the real studio. Well thats about it for me. Anybody staying as busy as me?

:? OMG, I wish I were 38!!! Man, I used to could say that I was 38...I remember being upset for turning 30. Ugh....It's hard to believe that I will soon acknowledge 52 as being young.

Im sorry for being sorry. bwahahaha!! I just missed hanging out. Ive done the band thing with the kids. But not to play in a band with them. Just show up from time to time at their practices and help out with sound. I taught them how to take a cd home and learn the song before rehearsal. They didnt know that. As far as age. Im 48, so 38 seems a few years ago!

Dangggg, I wish I could say I am 48 :? I got my AARP card 2 1/2 years ago. But anyway, I am preparing a concert for the Philharmonic ladies in November...I am playing in a party/rock band in a couple of weeks. I am expected to double on piano and I suck on piano.. I am sending in my composition/arrangement for the flute convention in August. It is going to be held in Anaheim next year. Whoda thunk that this would ever be held in my "back yard". I have chamber music rehearsal tomorrow and flute choir rehearsal Tuesday. I am also working on a couple of collaborations. Hopefully I'll get even busier. 8)

I play bass or cello in the symphony here too. But its a small down state symphony but we pull from The university of Illinois and other state colleges. But Ive slowed down on the string bass and cello.
