Good rendition of a good song, for sure, Mikev.
I love Knofler's touch on any axe he plays. He's a great song writer, too.
I recognized his style in the theme for "The Princess Bride" movie. When he has a good singer working with him on his stuff, it's truly magic.

IMHO truly under appreciated guitar player and songwriter.
I've always liked this song... especially the line about 'fools to make war'.
this song and 'romeo and juliet' are IMO are his two greatest songs... and yet two of his most unknown.
just felt the need to share.
plus I really was shocked that he was getting that tone using EMGs!
