You should've just said, "Hey, I just started this new site and would like you to check it out."
Would've seemed less spammish than saying it's a great site when there is only one post on it so far. Could turn into something good, but you'll never get people on there by trying to fool them. Good luck with it.

I didn't start the site. I just found it a few days ago. There are more than one post on the site, so not sure where you are looking? Not trying to spam, just thought I would pass along a cool site that I found. Sorry, did not mean to upset anyone with my post.
